Ijebu North East Local Government Chairman, Hon Folusho Badejo has expressed concern over the incessant dumping of industrial wastes which is capable of undermining health and the peaceful atmosphere being enjoyed by the people of the Local Government.

Badejo made the declaration on Tuesday at the Odo aye Junction towards Luba/Iyaniwura when a wine pickup vehicle with a siren and no number plate was caught.

The situation has deteriorated to the extent that Odo aye Junction towards Luba/Iyaniwura is characterized by offensive smell as a result of the nefarious activities.

Fortunately, a wine pickup vehicle with secure its siren and no number plate was caught today discharging some industrial wastes by the road roadside interrogation, it was revealed that they came to dump the waste from SABO, ODOGBOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

Although, the motion had it that the Ogun State Government is interested in the issue the vehicle is presently held at the Nigerian Police Force Atan Division.
