The unrelenting effort of the Ogun State Government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun has facilitated the provision of solar lights through the Ministry of Rural Development to all police stations and two major Amotekun Offices across Ijebu East Local government.

According to a statement sent out by media office of the executive Chairman of Ijebu East Local government, Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth.

It reads:

“The Administration of Hon. Oyesanya Adetutu Elizabeth in Ijebu East Local government Area of Ogun State believes in enhancing the security of our environment and supporting our security agencies in all ways possible.

Exploring further, the efficient synergy existing between the State Government and our Administration, the synergy facilitated the provision of solar lights by the state government, through the Ministry of Rural Development to all police stations and two major Amotekun Offices in Ijebu East.

According to Executive chairman, “All the security outposts in Ijebu East LG will now be covered fully with solar lights, thereby providing more conducive environment for the security operatives. We also extended the solar light installation to some parts of Ijebu Imushin Market. This is the first phase of our Light-Up Ijebu East project, as a component of the Light-Up Ogun Project of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON.

Sincere appreciation to our forward-looking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Ilori Oduntan and her team.”she said
