The Ipokia Local Government Chapter of the National Council of Women Society recently held its end-of-year party, which was attended by distinguished guests, including the Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, also known as Cornerstone.

During the event, Hon. Avoseh offered a heartfelt prayer for the members of the National Council of Women Society, wishing them good health and many more years of service. He also seized the opportunity to pledge his support for Ipokia Zonal Development, emphasizing his commitment to the community’s growth and progress.

Earlier that day, Hon. Avoseh attended the Ogun West Senatorial meeting, held at Opo Town Hall in Ipokia Local Government Area. At the meeting, he was briefed by the Zonal Chairman, Hon. Ayinde Suuru, on the needs of the Ipokia Zonal Development Committee. Other notable attendees included the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs Olufunmilayo Okewole; the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Akeem Adeyonju; the Head of the Local Government Administration, Mr Emanuel Pogbe; and the wife of the Executive Chairman, Mrs E.

The end-of-year party served as a platform for the National Council of Women Society to celebrate its achievements and reflect on its goals for the upcoming year. The event underscored the importance of community development and the role of women in driving positive change.
