The Executive Chairman, Odeda Local Government, Hon. (Mrs.) Folashade Adeyemo has tasked the Council workers to step up their productivity level while promising them better and improved staff welfare.

Hon. Adeyemo gave the charge on Monday 2nd August, 2021 during her maiden meeting with the principal career officers of the Local Government held at the Conference room of the Council area.

The Local Government boss, who had earlier toured the Council Secretariat for an on the spot assessment of the working environment promised to give a face-lift to the Secretariat. She however, solicited for the support of the Staff in order to deliver on her campaign promises to the grassroot people. According to her, it is only a synergy between the political class and the career officers that can aid the fulfillment of her six-point developmental agenda tagged “GBAYI”

In his own remark, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Yaya Nasiru expressed his happiness for the warm reception accorded to them by the senior career officers and the entire work force of the Council.

Responding, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Taiwo Akintomide pledged the loyalty and support of the entire work force to the new administration while promising their readiness to put in their best in the delivery of their official duties.

Present at the meeting were the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Taiwo Akintomide, Directors and Heads of various Departments and the Acting internal Auditor.
