Better times ahead, Ogun Central APC Senatorial Candidate, Shuaib Salisu assures constituent

The Ogun Central All Progressives Congress Senatorial District Candidate and the former Chief of Staff to Gov. Dapo Abiodun, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu has assured party faithfuls and the residents of the Ogun Senatorial District that better times are ahead as he requested for support for all the All Progressives Congress candidates ahead 2023 general elections.

The APC Senatorial Candidate gave this assurance at a meeting of Ogun Central Leaders’ held at APC Party secretarial, Iyana Mortuary, Abeokuta the state capital.

He thank Governor Dapo Abiodun for his support and fatherly roles he played during and after the primaries.

“I want to thank His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR for the tremendous and unrelenting work he has been doing in Ogun state, and for providing us the level playing ground to realize this lifelong ambition. I am deeply humbled by your endorsement”

He said, “Despite all the challenges faced in the recent past by this administration, we were able to record unprecedented achievements as far as the implementation of our ISEYA agenda and other lofty programmes we promised Ogun State people three years ago; we were able to match our words with achievements.

“Let me express my appreciation to all Party leaders, Party delegates and party members across Ogun Central Senatorial District for their support during and after the primaries.

“We want more of your support as we approach 2023 general elections, in which by the special grace of God, I and 11 APC candidates across Ogun Central would be sworn-in in May 2023.I assure all Ogun Central Senatorial District that better times lie ahead.”

Receiving the APC Senatorial candidate at the party secretarial, the state party Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi and the Senatorial chairman of the party, Chief Abiola Fohun assured him of their support promise a massive campaign and mobilize voters to vote all Progressives Congress candidates across the Senatorial.

The Leaders described Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu as a man of impeccable character who has been in the struggle for Ogun Central Senatorial emancipation for over a decade now.

The Senatorial candidate was accompanied on the visit by Odeda and Ifo local government chairmen, Hon Folasade Adeyemo and Hon.Delani respectively. Many governor Liaison’s Officers ably led by former Odeda local government chairman, Semiu Bola Lawal. Odeda State Constituency Assembly man, Hon Daisi Elemide, Ifo Constituency 2 Candidate, Hon.Fola Salami, Hon Olanrewaju Majekodunmi, Commissioner at the Ogun State TESCOM and others of the party faithfuls.

Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu is an award winning information and communications expert and accomplished administrator.

Fondly called SAS, between 2011 and 2014, Salisu served in the cabinet of the former Ogun State Governor as Deputy (and later Acting) Chief of Staff.

He holds a 1986 second class (upper) degree in Computer Science of the University of Lagos, from where he also got two masters degrees – an MBA in 2003 and MSc in Computer Science in 2012.
