The Ogun State Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has been unanimously removed as speaker.

This Newspaper learned that Hon Oludaisi Elemide has been immediately named as the new speaker.

When contacted, a few of the Assembly members confirmed the news in our correspondence.

The impeachment letter was reportedly signed by 18 out of 26 members of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
