Pursuant to the provision of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission Law 2007 (as amended), notice is hereby given for the Appointment of ADHOC STAFF for the conduct of the 2024 Local Government Elections due on Saturday, 16th November 2024.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
1. Electoral Officers
2. Assistant Electoral Officers
3. Returning Officers
4. Presiding Officers
5. Poll Clerks
6. Poll Orderlies

QUALIFICATIONS:

ELECTORAL OFFICERS (GL 14): Must be a Nigerian, a Public or Civil Servant in a recognized Public Establishment or tertiary institutions in Ogun state and must not be below Grade Level 14.

ASSISTANT ELECTORAL OFFICERS (GL 13): Must be a Nigerian, a Public or Civil Servant in a recognized Public Establishment or tertiary institution in Ogun state and must be on Grade Level 13.

RETURNING OFFICERS (GL 12): Must be a Nigerian, Public or Civil servant in a recognized Public Establishment or tertiary institution and must be on Grade Level 12.

PRESIDING OFFICERS, POLL CLERKS & POLL ORDERLIES: Must be a Nigerian and possess at least a BSc, HND, NCE, OND or have completed or serving in the NYSC program. WAEC/GCE “O” level may be considered for Polling Clerks.

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA FOR ALL POSITIONS:
Must not be a card-carrying member of any political party.
Evidence of previous experience in electoral duties will be an added advantage.
Computer literacy/competence will also be considered a key advantage.

Interested applicants are required to submit an application letter, along with a copy of their Curriculum Vitae and two passport-sized photographs. All applications should be addressed to the Chairman, Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), Behind Bureau of Lands, IBB Boulevard, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and must be submitted no later than 27th September 2024.
