Rural Dwellers of Yewa North Local Government Area were exited as Ogun State Govt began the distribution of relief materials across the communities of the council area

Each pack of relief materials contains 5kg of rice,5kg of beans,5kg of Gari,Salt, Seasoning Cube,4 Sachets of Vegetable Oil and 5 Sachets of Tomatoes paste

Representing Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun,the

For Housing,Hon Jamiu Omoniyi(Jagunmolu)said the distribution was a mean of relieving the hardship that may be caused as a result of the stay at home order imposed by the Federal Government

He added that the palliative items of 250 for each of the 236 ward of the State were for the first phase and met for the vulnerable, aged as well as the needy

Also,the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance,Alh Hassan Adekunle enjoined the residents to adhere to instructions, social distance,washing the hands regularly under the running water as well as using Sanitizer

Also Speaking with residents, the Transition Chairman,Hon David Bankole charged them to support the administration of Gov Dapo that better days are ahead the people of the council and assured that the items would be distributed without preference to any body

In his reaction in his resident at Ayetoro,the Alaye of Ayetoro commended the efforts of Gov Dapo in ameliorate well being of the people of Ogun State in general and prayed for his success in office

Also, in their separate reaction some of the beneficiaries, an aged,Pa Dauda Rufai at Saala,Ayetoro, a Rtd Police Officer, Mr Moses Adelakun

Others were the oldest chief in Ayetoro,the Baajito of Ayetoro, Chief Abraham Olakunlehin,The Aro of Ilogun,Ayetoro Chief Zaccheaus Adebiyi as well jas Mrs Abeke Fashola appreciated Gov Dapo Abiodun for the gesture describing it at timely as it would cushioning their conditions while the lockdown lasted

Other areas covered were, Igbogila,Imoto,Eggua,Oja-Odan as well as other communities in the council area
