The Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, and the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, has congratulated Chief Adeyemi (Yemi) Sanusi, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, on his conferment as a Fellow of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Government and good people of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Adeyemo described the prestigious Fellowship Award as a fitting tribute to Chief Sanusi’s unwavering commitment to educational advancement, purposeful leadership, and sustained contributions to societal development in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

Chief Sanusi, who also serves as Managing Director of Akin and Sanusi Company Limited, will be formally invested with the Fellowship honour at the College’s 26th Combined Convocation Ceremonies scheduled for Thursday, 12th February 2026 at the Aduke Maina Hall.

The Honourable Adeyemo noted that the recognition by a reputable institution of higher learning affirms the remarkable impact of Chief Sanusi’s efforts in strengthening education and fostering growth across the State.

“Your dedication to service, both in the political sphere and in community development, continues to inspire confidence and pride among our people. This award is indeed a celebration of excellence, integrity, and visionary leadership,” the Council Chairman stated.

She further prayed that the milestone would usher the Ogun APC Chairman into greater heights of achievement and open new doors for continued service to humanity, while expressing confidence that his passion for progress and development remains unwavering.

Hon. Adeyemo joined family members, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating what she termed an outstanding accomplishment for a distinguished son of Odeda Local Government and Ogun State.
