The All Progressives Congress, Youth League, Ogun State Coordinate has commended the State Governor for appointing grassroots politicians into Statutory Boards and Commissions in the state.

In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the group, Comrade Adewale Adeleye and made it available to Newsmen in Abeokuta on Tuesday, he said,”The State Coordinator of the League, Comrade Olamide Lawal gave the commendation after the second batch of the lists was made public last night.

Comrade Lawal noted that “After perusing the list, one after the other, we discovered that 85% of those that made the list are well known”

He pointed out that the Governor had taken a bold step towards realising his ‘All-Inclusive Government”, by appointing Politicians with requisite qualities and qualifications into the membership of the Boards and Commissions.

Lawal, who doubles as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth and Sports, also appreciated the Governor for considering a member of the Ogun State, APC Youth League, who is also the State Welfare Officer, Folake William Ogunsola into the board of Ogun State Agric Multi Purpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA).

‘This is a further demonstration of the Love Mr Governor has for the youths in Ogun State, We are grateful sir’ He added

The Coordinator commendthe Governor for his support for the youths by considering many of them to work with him and further seek for more consideration as Oliver Twist.

‘We have alot of Youths in the government and they are doing well on any task bestowed on them, successfully’ Lawal concluded
