All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odeda Local government area of Ogun state has elected and inaugurated new Executive members of the party.

In the Congress monitored by Newsmen in Emere Hall, Odeda Local government secretariat, the contestants for different positions, who were elected by delegates through a voice vote, emerged unopposed including the local government chairman, Hon Musulumi Saka, Woman Leader, Vice Chairman, Hon. Olanrewaju Mesioye, Secretary, Alhaji Mufitau Ogunsola ,Woman Leader, Muinat Lawal, Youth Leader, Comrade Timothy Odedina, PRO Mr Yomi Komolafe and other 21 local Excos.

The occasion, which was well-attended by stakeholders/delegates, was presided over by the APC Local government congress Committee from Abuja and Kogi respectively.

The newly-constituted Exco is expected to steer the ship of the party for another four years.

In his address, the chief of staff to the governor, Alhaji Shuib Salisu, congratulated the new officials and charged them to carry all party officials along in their activities.

Alhaji Salisu also charged them to work very hard with a view to win Ogun state in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

The representative of INEC was also on ground to monitor the process, which went smoothly without any rancor

APC State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi and State Organizing Secretary of APC, Hon. Yemi Adelani, accompanied members of APC Local Government Congress committee to the local government.
