The Political leaders and elders in Odeda local government of Ogun state, yesterday, paid a condolence visit to the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, over the death of his father, Pa Emmanuel Abiodun.
The elders, who visited the governor at the Iperu-Remo family house of the governor, urged the people to take a lesson from the death of Pa Abiodun, noting that everyone will answer the call one day no matter how long.

They had come on the condolence visit to share in the grief of missing a loved one.
Speaking on behalf of the elders and the good people of Odeda, the former House of Representatives, represented Abeokuta North, Obafemi-Owode and Odeda in the 4th republic, Hon. Israel Ogundipe however, urged the governor to continue the good work he has started.
“As far as Ogun state is concern, No Governor has ever done what you have done in Odeda”
“We are proud to say that our governor is there for us”
“We thank you very much for the wonderful things you have been doing for us in Odeda”
He noted that Dr Abiodun lived a life of great impact on the society and urged the family to be consoled by the legacies left behind by their late patriarch.
Hon. Ogundipe paid glowing tribute to the deceased for being a worthy father to children and many others, and urged the family to take solace in the fact that he lived to witness the enormous successes achieved by his offspring, including the emergence of Mr Dapo Abiodun as Governor.
“We share in your sorrow and pains at this period and we pray that God will grant you and the entire family the courage to bear the loss, as we pray for the repose of the soul of your departed father.
“On behalf of good people of Odeda Local government., We mourn with you, Our dear Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the unfortunate demise of your beloved father, Dr Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun.
“It is our prayer that God will comfort you and the entire family as you mourn,” he said.
