There is palpable tension in Lagos following a clash between Igbo Thugs and Yoruba Thugs at the Popular Alaba Market on Wednesday morning.

It was gathered that fighting broke out after Traders reportedly opposed some members of the Market union over Legal tax collection.

It was gathered that several traders mobilized Igbo Thugs and opposed the attempt by the union members to ‘extort’ them.

As at the time of filing this report, normalcy is yet to be restored to the area.
