The Executive Chairman ASLG Ake,Hon Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has directed today, Friday ,11th March,2022 all users of commercial outlets beside the National Open University, to vacate the area.

Hon Majekodunmi while inspecting the area with Officials of the Council Area also gave instructions that motorists who have also turned the area into a motor park should also leave the area

The Council boss who was accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Head of Local Government Administration,as well as officials from the Water and Environmental Sanitation Department said that the incessant complaints of residents within the area about the unkept environment by the users of the commercial outlets as well as the open defecation has prompted the Council’s intervention.

The Executive Chairman appealed to owners of the outlets and the commercial drivers to understand the need to maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment free from miscreants.

He, then, assured them of their prompt relocation by government after due and proper consultations.
