Ipokia, Ogun State – Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, popularly known as Cornerstone, the Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, on March 14, 2025, inspected two project sites as part of his administration’s efforts to enhance educational infrastructure in the area. The schools visited were Community Primary School Idabata in Agosasa Ward and Community Primary School Kajola, Akopin, Osoro in Ifonyintedo Ward.

Hon. Avoseh reiterated his commitment to providing quality education, describing it as the bedrock of societal development. The inspection aligns with Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun CON’s vision, *“Building Our Future Together,”* and focuses on the renovation and construction of classrooms across schools in Ipokia Local Government.

During the visit, the Chairman assessed a suitable location for the construction of a three-block classroom at Community Primary School Kajola, Akopin, Osoro, and evaluated the extent of damage at Community Primary School Idabata, Agosasa, which is slated for renovation. He emphasized the need for a conducive learning environment for pupils and assured the community of timely project completion.

The Head Teacher of Community Primary School Kajola, Akopin, Osoro, Mr. M.A. Ogunsiji, expressed gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Avoseh, and his team for the initiative. He also prayed for the swift completion and commissioning of the projects, noting their potential to transform the educational experience for pupils.

Hon. Avoseh was accompanied by key officials, including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Olufunmilayo Okewole; the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babajide Johnson Olushola; the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Emmanuel Senapon Pogbe; the Treasurer, Mr. Idowu Michael; the Local Government Engineer, Engr. Tinuosh Taiwo Olaneye; all Supervisors and Special Advisers; and Mrs. Olumide Esther O., Head of the Department of Information, Education, and Sports.

The inspection underscores the administration’s dedication to improving educational facilities and fostering development in Ipokia Local Government.
