A woman has allegedly stabbed her husband to death at Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Ajah, Lagos over an argument concerning his will.

According to unconfirmed reports, Mr and Mrs Otike-Odibe, who are both lawyers, had argued over properties on Wednesday night with the wife insisting her husband – who had no child by her – willed his properties to her.

The husband, who have three children from another woman, rejected the request. In anger, Mrs Otike-Odibe was said to have stabbed her husband several times before turning the knife on herself.

Mr Otike-Odibe died but the wife was, however, rescued and rushed to a hospital where she has since been stabilised.

The body of the deceased is currently being evacuated by the police.
