NASFAT’s National Dawah Officer, Imam AbdulGaniy Raji who facilitated the session on “Programme Planning & Execution: Expectations from NASFAT Imams” took the clergymen through the nitty gritty of preparations for public religious activities as well as the need for proper time management in execution of activities at events.

The NDO who doubles as the Secretary to the National Mission Board of the society, harped on the need for early plannings and putting the right peg in the right hole, in a bid to ensure overall success at events.

He urged NASFAT Imams to maintain their position as pacesetters through continuous and unquenchably seeking for education from all angles.

In his presentation, Nasfat Lead Missioner at Dolphin-Ikoyi outreach, Imam Saheed Adekunle who spoke on “Challenges of an Event Moderator in contemporary society: Ways Out for NASFAT Missioners” , advised the participants to make punctuality to programmes their watchword as it would always give room for appropriate acquaintance with the entire activities to be anchored.

Imam Saheed Adekunle, a Lecturer in the Lagos State University of Education, urged attendees to ensure they familiarize themselves with appropriate pronunciation of names of invited guests, appellations, protocols and the entire programme of events early enough before commencement of the event.

He maintained that the success and otherwise of all programmes lie in the hands of the Moderator.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Zonal Missioner of the zone, Imam Mueezdeen Adebiyi PhD. called on all members of the Mission Board to imbibe all ethics learnt at the training

He reminded Imams that training and re-training is a significant aspect of their calling , noting that NASFAT Missioners are expected to be distinct and exemplary in their presentations especially at public functions.
