Ijebu East Local Government APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Wale Adedayo, on Tuesday commiserated with the state chapter of the party on the death of it’s Treasurer, Hon. Adekunbi Banjoko.

In a condolence letter addressed to the APC state chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, and made it available to our correspondent in Abeokuta, the state capital.

“It was with a rude shock we received the news about the passage of our State Treasurer, Hon. Adekunbi Banjoko.

“We pray that God will grant his soul a peaceful repose and comfort the family he left behind. God will continue to uphold you and other members of the State Executive Committee.”

The late Treasurer, who is billed to be buried on Thursday in Shagamu, was also a member of the Ogun State Board of Public Health. A seasoned politician, he was a former Secretary to Sagamu Local Government,he concluded
