Some members of the All Progressives Congress loyal to a former Governor of the State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun have pledged their loyalty to the Administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The defectors who were received into the party mainstream by APC stalwarts led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on political Affairs, the Rt honourable Tunji Egbetokun, pledged their loyalty to the party under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Led by one of the political leaders from Obafemi Owode Local Government, Dr Femi Akingbinle, the defectors urged the party members to receive them with open arms and ensure fairness and equity in the political process.

Receiving the defectors, the Rt Honourable Egbetokun, and some members of the state Executive council promised to integrate them accordingly, urging them to unite and be at peace with one another.

He therefore urged Party stakeholders in the local government to embrace and work hand in glove with the returning politicians to take the party to the next level.
