The captain of Team Ogun Cycling and the Gold medalists , Agbebi Emmanuel, has showered encomiums on the governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his commitment to sports development in the state despite the economic downturn.

Agbebi gave the commendation while receiving his gold and silver medals at the ongoing the National Sports Festival (NSF) hold in Delta State.

The cyclists won 4klm pursuit team event , they are Agbebi Emmaniel captain of the team, Abiodun, Adesanya, Akinsemonyi Usman and Azeez Lawal who later won silver medal in 140kml Individual event.

He thank the governor for his giant strides in sports development in the state, saying he brought more experience and commitment to sports development in the state.

“I must truly thank HIS Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Dare Kehinde, sports council Director and her wonderful team, Our Coach and the cycling Association for believing in us”

He assured that his colleagues will put up more efforts to win more medals for the state and the whole of the state will be proud of them when the National Sports Festival ends.
