Abuja – A US-based activist, Dr Sandra Duru, popularly known as Professor Mgbeke, has alleged that suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan offered her N200 million to falsely accuse Senate President Godswill Akpabio of organ harvesting.

Duru made the claim during a Facebook Live session on Thursday, where she presented call logs and WhatsApp messages as evidence of her interactions with Natasha. She stated that the conversations exposed the motives behind the sexual harassment allegations levelled against Akpabio.

According to Duru, Natasha sought to link Akpabio to the death of a young girl who died years ago when her initial harassment claims gained no traction. The activist has since submitted the recorded conversations to US authorities and international agencies for forensic analysis.

“Natasha is a pathological liar. She told me there was no evidence of sexual harassment or organ harvesting, yet she wanted to force the Senate President to step down,” Duru said.

She further accused Natasha of being on a “mission to destroy men” and claimed the senator made disparaging remarks about Nigerians, referring to them as “gullible and hungry.” Duru also alleged that Natasha revealed plans to disrupt the current administration, stating, “They don’t want a Yoruba government to go beyond four years.”

Duru urged Nigerian and international security agencies, including the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Nigeria Police Force, to investigate Natasha’s claims, particularly her alleged knowledge of the 2021 death of a woman named Umoren, which autopsy reports confirmed had no links to organ harvesting.

“If Natasha knew something about Umoren’s death and kept quiet, she must be held accountable,” Duru insisted.

She also claimed that Natasha boasted about being promised the Kogi State governorship or the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources if she succeeded in removing Akpabio from office.

The activist called on Nigerians to disregard Natasha’s allegations, describing her as “careless, unteachable, and lacking moral values.”

As of press time, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has not responded to these allegations. The Nigeria Police and other relevant agencies are yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
