In a landslide victory, immediate past Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government Area, Bolaji Odusanya, has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for the chairmanship position. The Returning Officers announced Odusanya’s victory in all 11 wards across the local government, solidifying his candidacy for the Ogun 2024 Local Government Elections.

The primaries also saw the emergence of councillorship candidates for the APC in each of the 11 wards:

These candidates will represent the APC in the forthcoming Ogun 2024 Local Government Elections. To be eligible for the primaries, aspirants had to meet specific requirements, including being a citizen of Nigeria and an indigene or resident of the ward or constituency.
