Darts Player, Ololade Adeyemi strikes second gold for Team Ogun at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival (NSF) tagged “Edo 2020” on Thursday, after winning DARTS 701 individual (Female) at Imaguero College, Sapele Road, Benin City.

Team Kwara won sliver and Team Edo, the host state won bronze

Team Ogun have continued to make startling appearances in their respective sporting activities.

The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde was at the Athlete’s camp yester night at the Aminu Kano Hall of the University of Benin for a review meeting with the Ogun State Athletes and officials.

The athletics, speaking after one another used the medium to express their individual challenges in the course of the Competition amongst other sundry issues. These issues were instantly addressed by the State officials and the Honourable Commissioner.

The Commissioner also reiterated that the Government of *His Excellency Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun MFR* is poised at giving the Athletes maximum comfort during their stay at the National Festival.

It should be noted that the Ogun State Contingents have won one (2) Gold medal in Taewakedon, one (1) silver medals in Badminton, and five (5) bronze medals in Kungfu, Kick-Boxing and Squash respectively.

The Athletes also took the 4th Position in swimming and have qualified to the Final Stage in Darts and Badminton Single Female.
