Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun had perfected plans to cause confusion at the 2019 polls with the parallel party agents of All Progressives Congress (APC), Allied peoples movement (APM) and that of Democratic peoples party (DPP)

investigation revealed that The governor had directed the leadership of both APM and DPP to submit the names of the party agents collated from 236 Wards while he asked his commissioner of Community development, Hon. Gbenga Adenmosun to prepare “Tags and ID cards” of for his fake APC party agents. According to the information obtained, the governor used the influence of National financial secretary of the party, Alhaji Tajudeen Bello to know the replica of APC party agents tags and ID cards to be used and his men went ahead to print the fake ID cards unauthorized by National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole and Chairman, Ogun APC caretaker committee Chief Yemi Sanusi.

According to insiders ”Amosun’ strategy was that his APC party agents would put on the tags and ID cards on the election day and they planned to fight anybody who tries to challenge them in all the polling units”

Also, The governor ordered the parallel party agents to hijack the exercise from the original party agents. He also asked both APM and DPP party agents to support anything the fake APC party agents do at the polling units.
