The Chairman, Transition committee of Odeda Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal has sent Easter greetings to the inhabitants of the Council area.
In his message, the Council boss prayed for God’s protection urging the people to use the opportunity to draw close to God.

Dear Citizens of Odeda,

I am glad to welcome you to another season of celebrating the great sacrifice that Christ did for mankind.

Easter is the demonstration of God indicating that life is essentially spiritual and timeless laden with love beyond measure.

The cross of Christ shows us that God’s love is of deepest descent and should be replicated by all who follow Him.

My sincere prayer for us this day is that we remember this great love and allow it reflect in our daily lives and in all that we do.

May this season draw us closer to Christ that we may obtain the blessings apportioned to those that trust in Him. May He heal our land and keep us free from the scourging pandemic.

I wish you a very happy Easter celebrations.
