The Chairman, Transition Committee, Odeda Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal popular called Sembol has reiterated his commitment to grassroot development by executing projects and programmes that will have direct impact on the people of the Council Area.

The Chairman gave the assurance in his New Year’s message to the people of the Local Government. He seized the opportunity to renew his commitment to serve the people of the Council Area diligently. He also declared that the prayers, sacrifices and unflinching support of the people in the Council made him achieve all he did in the past year. He, however, solicited for more of their prayers and support as this is what he would be needing most to do more in the new year.

Hon. Lawal enjoined the people of the local government to be law abiding in the new year. He also appealed that all necessary precautionary measures be observed to curtail the deadly Covid-19 Pandemic which is still spreading like wildfire.

The Council helm’s man thanked the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR for his support to local government administration in the state noting that all the laudable achievements of his administration were made possible because of the support of the state government.

He prayed for a peaceful 2021 while wishing all a happy new year.
