Abuja – Tamunosoye Karibi-George, who represented Bayelsa State, has emerged as the winner of the Miss World Nigeria 2026 pageant.
The 26-year-old beauty queen from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, clinched the coveted crown after competing against 20 finalists at the grand finale held on Saturday night at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
The competition, themed “Pride, Power, and Purpose,” celebrated beauty, leadership, and social impact, with contestants showcasing their talents, intelligence, and commitment to community development.
Karibi-George was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 amid cheers from supporters, dignitaries, and pageant enthusiasts in attendance.
Following her victory, she will represent Nigeria at the 73rd Miss World Festival, which is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 9 to September 5, 2026.
Her emergence marks a significant milestone as she prepares to fly the Nigerian flag on the global stage, competing alongside contestants from around the world for the Miss World crown.
