Odeda – The Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Dr Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, has paid a condolence visit to the Supervisor for Works and Housing, Hon. Fatai Adebowale, following the death of his father, Alhaji Abdul Rasaq Alabi Adebowale.
Dr Adeyemo visited the bereaved family on Monday at their residence in Daudu Village, Adewusi, Ilugun Ward, where she joined family members, community leaders, political associates, and other sympathisers in mourning the deceased.
During the visit, the council chairman described the passing of Alhaji Adebowale as a painful loss not only to the immediate family but also to the wider community, noting that the deceased was known for his humility, wisdom, and service to society.
She expressed her condolences to Hon. Adebowale and other members of the family, praying that Almighty Allah grant the late Alhaji Adebowale eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
According to Dr Adeyemo, although death is inevitable, the positive legacy and exemplary life lived by the deceased would continue to be remembered by all who came in contact with him.
Responding on behalf of the family, Hon. Fatai Adebowale appreciated the chairman for her visit, support, prayers, and solidarity during the period of mourning.
The condolence visit was attended by family members, community stakeholders, political associates, and other well-wishers who gathered to pay their respects to the late Alhaji Abdul Rasaq Alabi Adebowale.
