• It’s one year today he and his travelling team miraculously survived a chopper crash in Kogi

When God said “Do not touch my chosen people, and do not hurt my prophets” in the book of the Psalm, little did I understand that God is always before, by and after His own, a rare testimony in the case of the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN.

Osinbajo, a man with a clean heart was verified by God as His own, making him one of the fewest leaders in the world who escaped air crash (chopper crash).

The chopper crashed in Kabba, Kogi State, while conveying the Vice-President to a rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The Vice-President, however, came out unhurt and immediately continued on the campaign trail in the state, a decision that impressed Buhari. Osinbajo took with him a military heart, unassuming, eloquent and hardworking.

In a phone conversation with his deputy, President Muhammadu Buhari said “We give glory to Almighty God for sparing your life.

“I’m impressed by your tenacious spirit which enabled you to continue on your campaign engagement, despite the shock of the crash”, President Buhari tells VP Osinbajo.

Before the crash, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, had prayed fervently for the VP for God’s protection for his pastor and former law professor. Indeed, a prayer answered.

Those on the VP entourage were the then Labour Minister, Stephen Ocheni, Mr Femi Osinbajo, Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser and Ambassador Abdullahi Gwary, SSA Foreign Affairs/Protocol.

“Others include Mr Laolu Akande, the VP’s spokesman; Dr Biodun Adelowo, his physician; Mr Doyin Adetuberu, security officer; and Ayoola Oladunni, (ADC) among others.”

I join the #GratefulHearts as #WeGiveThanks for this miraculous escape of a chopper crash.
