Rasheed Aroboto, a former Special Assistant to the governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has admonished the youths of Ado-Odo Ota Local government to firstly embrace and support the governor in his fulfilment of his daily obligations as the executive governor of the state.

Aroboto, who hails from Ado-Odo Ota local government, in his own defense of the governor after accusations of exclusion from the first set of appointments made by the governor made it known that Governor Dapo Abiodun is a rewarding governor who knows what is right and does it as at when due.

He said patience is all that is needed as Ota is well equiped with capable hands who can flow along with the governor in building the future of the state together.

Commitment and selflessness is the watch word of Mr Governor and he will at the right time appoint capable hands to assist him in government from Ado Odo Ota and they will be those who are ready to serve the entire state and uphold the integrity of the state.

When questioned on the news flying around on the notion that Awori must succeed the incumbent Govenror, Aroboto said the journey is to early to get going as only God crowns a king. Election matter should not come now when good governance is about to kick off it’s second phase.

At the appropriate time, election matters will be discussed and varied using all available variables to determine who will succeed after Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Aroboto reminded the youths that indulging in social vices was capable of destroying their future.

He also charged the youths to use their talent in fostering unity and peace for national development.

“No society could achieve speedy development without peace, hence the need for the youths and other Ogun state indigenes to continue to preach and live in peace irrespective of their agitations and social affiliation.

“I want to advise the youths and other Ogun indigenes against the intake of hard drugs, drug addiction, cultism, armed robbery and other social vices in their interest and for the development of the country,” he said.
