The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Mr. Julius Abure has been arrested by Police Officers for Fraud and other Financial crimes on Wednesday in Benin City, Edo State.

It can be recalled that Abure has been under fire following accusations of embezzling over N3 Billion Party funds.

Multiple sources reported that Abure was arrested in Benin City, Edo State, South-South, Nigeria.

It is currently unclear the reason behind his arrest but sources say it may not be unconnected with the recent crisis rocking the party.
