No fewer than 13 travellers have lost their lives while 25 sustained varying degrees of injury in three accidents in Ogun State.

Six persons lost their lives in an accident involving two vehicles on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

While seven persons died in the accident that occurred on the Ososa bridge in the Odogboolu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The crash which occurred at about 12:20am on Saturday involved a Mercedes Benz Marco Polo Luxury Bus with no registration number.

The Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps of the state Sector Command, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident.

Okpe said the luxury bus which belongs to Izuchukwu Motors, Onitsha, took off from Ojuelegba, Lagos on Saturday night.

She said, A total of 63 persons were involved which comprised 40 male adults, 15 female adults, five male children and three female children.
