Popular Nigerian artiste, Muma Gee on Friday said, the politics involved amongst the organisers may be part of the reason why Davido did not get an award from the just concluded AFRIMA 2017.

The singer who disclosed this during the TVC Breakfast show, believes her name was excluded because she has been out of stage for a while. ”I didn’t get an award during the AFRIMA2017, because it has been long I produced and sang a song. But I am impressed and happy for the people that won, including Akon.”

”And Davido, if you are listening to me, I want you to understand that a lot of politics goes into planning events like this. For every award you can’t rule out politics, so if the organisers are not your friend or close to you, it is bond to happen, grow up and don’t get angry that you were not selected for the award as too much considerations were given to the foreigners.”
