Some Selected Leaders in Odeda Local Government area of Ogun state have visited and Congratulated Chief Yemi Sanusi on his emergence as the Ogun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Leaders are: Semiu Bola Lawal, (SEMBOL) Former Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Olanrewaju Majekodunmi (MAJEK) Commissioner at the Ogun state teaching service Commission , Hon. Adewale Jeleel Adeogun, Member, Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board and Hon. Fatai Adebimpe, Member, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation Board.

They described the victory of Chief Yemi Sanusi at the congress as the elected Chairman of the party as a victory for the good people of Odeda Local Government and the entire party in the State.

The Ogun APC Chairman, Sanusi first held as a caretaker chairman before he was elected at the Ogun APC’s State congress to lead the 35-man Executives of the party in the state.

The Leaders who described the new Ogun APC Chairman as a vibrant, trusted, proven and committed party man, APC Chieftains, then assured Chief Yemi Sanusi of their support to his leadership towards victory in 2023.

Chief Yemi Sanusi and other Ogun State APC Executives, party officers were elected unopposed by affirmation through the voice votes to the accredited delegates drawn from the 20 Local Government Areas of the state on Saturday 16th October 2021 at the MKO Stadium, Kuto , Abẹokuta venue where the Congress took place.

In his welcome Address , Sanusi thank the leadership of Odeda APC for thier support and congratulated them for having New local government Excos.

He urged them to ensure that they carry every member along in all the wards and they should discourage faction (Group) within the party.
