Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesman, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye, who passed away on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
In a statement released by his media adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola extended his condolences to Oladunjoye’s family, the Ogun State government, and the APC, describing the late party chieftain as a “cerebral and valuable personality” who played a key role in Ogun State and Nigeria’s political development.
The senator noted that Oladunjoye’s dedication to effective communication of party policies and governance was “uniquely unparalleled,” adding that the APC had lost a “principled, loyal, and hardworking” member who contributed significantly to the success of the current state and federal administrations.
Adeola, who chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriations, also praised the late spokesman for his commitment to justice, equity, and philanthropy, stating that Oladunjoye’s passing was a great loss to Ogun State and national politics.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and urged the bereaved family to find strength in this difficult time.
Oladunjoye, a seasoned journalist and APC stalwart was known for his vocal advocacy and strategic role in shaping the party’s public engagement in Ogun State. His death has drawn tributes from across the political and media spheres.
